A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Sangam Vihar. Suddenly a monkey came on the roof of a house and started growling at the mother-daughter. Taking the daughter in her arms, the mother ran to avoid the monkey, but fell down the stairs. Due to this, mother Babita Devi and daughter Muskan (6) were seriously injured. Both were admitted to the hospital, where doctors declared Muskaan brought dead.
Carpenter Vinod Ki’s family lives at H-16/1948 Sangam Vihar. The wife was on the terrace with a smile at around 3:30 pm on Sunday. Suddenly the monkey came on the roof. When Babita tried to drive him away, he started growling. This scared Babita Devi and ran away with Muskaan. When Muskaan started falling down the stairs, Babita tried to save her, but both could not keep balance and got seriously injured. The relatives took both of them to Jamia Hamdard, where doctors declared Muskaan brought dead.
Muskaan had a lot of injuries on her head. Babita has been sent home after being treated. On receiving the information, ASI Sunil’s team started the investigation under the supervision of Sangam Vihar police station chief Saroj Tiwari. In the investigation, it was found that the mother-daughter ran after seeing the monkey and the accident happened after falling. However, initially it was being said that Babita and Muskan had jumped down from the first floor to escape from the monkey.

Father Vinod’s tears were flowing whenever Mohit, younger brother of innocent smile, was asking this question to his father. Same was the case with Muskaan’s mother Babita. This time Muskaan had demanded a big pichkari on Holi. Vinod was just saying this while crying, ‘Just once aja aaja tumko badka pichkari dilayenge.’
The death of the only daughter has badly broken Vinod and wife Babita. Babita was fainting from crying. The relatives were trying to handle him. Vinod, originally a resident of Begusarai in Bihar, told that the marriage took place in the year 2015. Smile was born a year later. After the birth of the daughter, Vinod’s work also started going well. Later, two sons Mohit and Himanshu were also born to the couple. Mohit is currently four and a half years old, while Himanshu is three and a half years old.

Muskaan was a Class I student in a nearby public school. He was at work at the time of the accident. He got a call from the neighbor. He told that sister-in-law and Muskaan got hurt. Neighbors Ballu and Geeta Devi had taken the mother-daughter duo to Majidia Hospital even before he reached. On reaching the hospital, the daughter’s death was known. The last rites of the girl child were performed at the cremation ground in Dakshinpuri. The family was preparing to celebrate Holi, but now there is mourning in the house.
